The old system has a roller spacing of up to 350mm.
The wide spacing allows the conveyor belt to bounce and deflect resulting in product spilling. This necessitates frequent conveyor shutdowns for wash downs.
The Macarise Services solution is the triple roller impact frame. This frame has a roller spacing of 90mm. This significantly reduces spillage and therefore the need for shutdowns, therefore increasing productivity and profit.
The rollers are mounted in a pinned frame which can drop down 440mm away from the conveyor belt to allow easy maintenance.
